National Technical Honor Society

The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) is an honor society for oustanding career and technical students of workforce vocational education institutions in the United States. NTHS serves over 3,800 member schools, both secondary and post-secondary, and has a footprint in all 50 states, with chapters expanding into the Bahamas, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, and Guam. NTHS honors the achievements of leading career and technical education students, provides scholarships, and cultivates excellence in today's highly competitive, skilled workforce.

SkillsUSA is a United States career and technical student organization serving more than 395,000 high school, college, and middle school students and professional members enrolled in training programs in trade, technical, and skilled service occupations. SkillsUSA's mission is to empower its members to become world-class workers, leaders, and responsible American citizens. SkillsUSA improves the quality of America's skilled workforce through a structured program of citizenship, leadership, employability, technical, and professional skills training.

This year, we had four students who participated in the SkillsUSA state competition. Thank you to our SkillsUSA advisors, Laura Emmerling, Dean of Students, and David Jacks, 3D Gaming & Cybersecurity Instructor.

Program Student of the Year

Criteria used in the selection of Program Student of the Year include a high level of academic achievement, mature attitude and strong work ethic, and active participation in the program.

We congratulate all 39 students who were nominated as Program Student of the Year by their instructor.

Tech Campus Student of the Year

The Tech Campus Student of the Year is the most prestigious award given to one highly qualified individual. The Tech Campus Student of the Year exemplifies what it means to be essential in all facets of Career and Technical Education.

From the 39 Program Student of the Year nominees, the adminitrastion took statements written by each candidate's instructor to select our final five candidates. During the week of April 26th, they conducted a rigorous interview process, reviewed resumes and personal statements, and began the difficult process of selecting one winner.

We hope you are as proud of these students as we are.
