Adult Cosmetology Classes
Our Adult Cosmetology program is highly sought out because it offers quality instruction at an exceptional value. One of the requirements of our program is previous enrollment at the Tech Campus for at least one year prior to graduating high school.
If interested you will need to fill out an application packet and submit to the Business Office along with a $15.00 application fee. Please note all student information on the application must be complete and all materials signed where indicated. Students who are admitted into the program will be informed of their selection and then become eligible to enroll in classes.

Adult Cosmetology FAQ
What time do the classes meet?
We are a high school, so our schedule works on a traditional high school calendar. Class sessions are from 5: 00 PM - 8:30 PM. These classes meet every day Monday through Friday from mid-August until the end of May. There are some select Saturday sessions from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A summer session is also available for four weeks in June.
How long is the program?
Students must complete a transcript of skills and exams as well as 1500 hours of class time to complete the program. If you choose to come one session a day, it will take two school years plus summer school to complete. Some students choose to come all day each day to complete the program quicker. There are also outside opportunities to assist students to complete hours which will be explained by your instructor.
How much does the program cost?
The cost of the entire program is about $12,00. This includes the kit fee and the application fee.
Is financial aid available?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide students with financial aid because we are a high school. However, we do provide a monthly payment plan to ease the cost. The most current tuition schedule is listed below.
I am a returning/transfer student. What do I need to do to register as an adult Cosmetology student?
Please contact Mrs. Emmerling to discuss returning to Tech Campus as an adult student. We will review your clocked hours and transcript to determine a plan for completing the program. Transfer students will need to have their transcript sent to the Tech Campus for review to determine how long it will take to complete the program.
