What will my classes be like?
First you start with the fundaments of programming in the C++ language. You are able to work at your own pace, understand the basics of programming, and develop problem solving skills. Once you have mastered the basics, you will learn what it takes to design a video game from scratch. You will also learn how to create 3D characters and how to animate them. You'll combine all your skills to explore a career in game development. Picture

This program is designed to provide instruction in computer science using the C++ language. Students will be able to develop video games and professional programs using realistic hands-on interdisciplinary exercises. The game programming DigiPen curriculum will focus on programming using C++. Additional training will cover 2D and 3D animation using 3ds Max® software. Internships are available with local business partners.
