Early Education & Teaching

Are you full of energy, love to tell stories, create art, and move to music? Then you have the building blocks to become a child care teacher in this ever expanding field where the demand is growing.
What will my classes be like?
As you prepare to become an early education professional you will realize the early years are the learning years. Start off by discovering how to guide child behavior and promote child safety and nutrition. Plan activities in art, music, science, math, language, large motor, and drama in our pre-school lab and Infant Toddler Center. Put your teaching skills to the test by working as an intern in area day care centers. Once you understand the emotional, social, intellectual, and physical aspects of young children you can play an important role in making a positive difference in a child's life. Picture
