What will my classes be like?
As a Network Administrator, you will set up infrastructure for computers by installing switches and routers. You'll learn how to maintain  these networks and defend computers from outside attacks. The CISCO™ online course along with our hands-on networking lab will allow you to test what you've learned by installing and troubleshooting this high tech equipment, and how to enhance network security systems. Get plugged in and be a part of the team that is building the future of the Internet and beyond.Picture
Program Description

This program is designed to develop fundamental practical computer networking knowledge and skills in a hands-on environment. Students will learn the principles and practice of designing, building, and maintaining computer networks. Students will be prepared to take the CISCO Certified Networking Associate Exam (CCNA), which is an industry-based certification for network technicians who have demonstrated the capability to install, configure, and operate LAN and WAN environments. The hands-on experiences provide extensive practice and application of knowledge in the network communication, wired and wireless infrastructures, soft-skills, and OSI model. Additional, students will learn advanced router and switch installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Internships are also available with local business partners.
